A very clean very tight copy with bright unmarked boards and no bumping to corners. 80pp. The story of the German POW camp at Grizedale Hall in the English Lake District. It was used for captured German submariner and Luftwaffe officers between 1939 and 1948. With a fold-out architectural drawing of its plan and elevation as designated during this period. With a number of reports about activities, goods available to inmates and also details of an escape tunnel. Illustrated. A very scarce publication.
