Description
No marks or inscriptions. A very clean very tight copy with bright unmarked boards and very tiny bump to lower front corner. Two large fold-out maps (1906 and 1931) in excellent condition. Dust jacket not price clipped or marked or torn with slight creasing to edges. 301pp. A very detailed study of politics in Walsall over the first half of the 20th century. The maps show the area in 1906 and then the new ward boundaries in 1931. Contains photographs of the MPs over this time as the Labour Party gradually replaced the Liberal Party as the main national opposition to the Conservatives.
