Previous owners name on page ix. No other inscriptions or marks. No creasing to covers, slight creasing to spine ends. A very clean very tight copy with lovely bright unmarked boards and no bumping to corners. Front page edges uncut. Light sunning to eps. 586pp. A superb copy of the 1928 compact reprint of Roby's original work from 1829 with 12 tissue-guarded plates reproducing the originals by Edward Finden and George Pickering. No jacket.
