4to., First Edition thus, with fine mounted coloured frontispiece (captioned tissue guard present), decorative title in green and black, 14 fine mounted coloured plates (all original captioned tissue guards present), 30 monochrome illustrations in the text and pictorial endpapers in green, some very light and occasional browning, tiny signature on front free endpaper; original pictorial green/brown boards blocked and lettered in green, brown buckram back lettered and blocked in gilt, neatly rebacked with old backstrip laid down, boards moderately age-marked and faded, rubbed and frayed at corners and extremities else a very good, clean copy.
