Monograph on Vladimir Alekseyevich Shchuko (1878- 1939) a Russian architect, member of the Saint Petersburg school of Russian neoclassical revival notable for his giant order apartment buildings. Illustrated throughout in black & white with 62 of Schuko's drawings for buildings and theater set designs. Schuko, though not successful, was involved with his partner Vladimir Gelfreikh, on the famous 1920's project, the Palace of the Soviets. List of architectural projects (5 pages).
