Description
FIRST EDITION of this epistolary account of travel in the Low Countries. 166 pp plus FOUR FINE TINTED LITHOGRAPHED VIEWS (complete). The lithographs depict Amsterdam, Antwerp, Ostende, and Bruges. 4to. Publisher's gilt cloth binding, with polychrome roundels. The gilt on the front and back covers is faded, but the other colors are pretty fresh. On the spine, both the gilt and the other colors are still bright. All edges gilt. Internally fine and bright. A pristine copy, complete with all four views (which are often missing). Rare as such.
