Brown morocco label with gilt title on the spine. = First American edition, published in the same year as the London 1831 first edition. A good read. Library label "J. G. King Library N. J. State Lunatic Asylum" on front pastedown, and M. J. State Medical library, Trenton, N. J. on front free endpaper recto; King library also written on the endpapers. Top edge of title page clipped. Moderate age-toning and some foxing throughout. The binding is good.
