Carlsruhe, Gottlieb Braun, 1825. 8vo (20.3 x 12.2 cm). xii, 320 pp., one folded chart, eight folded engraved plates. Contemporary half calf over marbled boards. Edges red. = Rare and important work on volcanology with detailed information on the various volcanic minerals. The folded chart contains a list of volcanos arranged according to continent with their name, height, and the name of the person who had measured this. Old stamp in the title page lower margin, and an incription on the same page top margin, otherwise a very good copy. Ward and Carozzi, 2208.
