Ritratto del celebre navigatore, racchiuso entro una cornice, incisa di alloro. ' Lo scopo celebrativo dell’opera è confermato dal motto in alto “fin che risplenda il sol vivrà famoso ligure illustre il nome tuo glorioso”. ' Incisione in rame, eccellente stato di conservazione. Molto rara. Portrait of the famous seaman, surrounded by a laurel frame. ' The main aim of the work was to celebrate the man, as the motto on the upper part confirms “till the sun shines your name will live in glory”. ' Copperplate, in excellent condition. Extremely rare.
