La tavola è delineata sul manoscritto che Giovanni Sambuco inviò ad Ortelius poco prima del 1573. Titolo e indicazioni editoriali: "Ex Bibliotheca Nobilis et doctissimi Ioannis Sambuci, Imperatoria Mat.s. Historici", in due elaborati cartigli. Testo latino al verso.
Incisione in rame (470 x 355 mm) in coloritura d'epoca. Segno di piega centrale, piccolo rinforzo.
