Un violento incendio ha distrutto il transatlantico inglese "Empire-Windrush", al largo delle coste dell'Algeria. Per fortuna proprio al momento in cui il fuoco è divampato il mare, sino ad allora in tempesta si è improvvisamente calmato e così i 1268 passeggeri sono stati salvati (Walter Molino)
