Mantova Books Maps Prints | September 16-17, 2023
The eighth edition of the first Italian fair of antique book dealers is coming, with 60 exhibitors from Italy and around the world.

THE FIRST ANTIQUE BOOKS AND VINTAGE PRINTS FAIR WHERE YOU CAN PURCHASE
Born in Mantua in 1975, Mantova Libri Mappe Stampe is the first of its kind in Italy, catering to bibliophiles and paper collectors.
Mantova Libri Mappe Stampe carries on the tradition of Italy's longest-running event dedicated to the world of antique books and paper collectibles, which Mantua proudly saw come to life in 1975 (under the name "Il Frontespizio"), contributing to the spread of the taste and passion for ancient paper.
At this well-established event, over 60 exhibitors, from Italy and abroad, including antiquarian bookshops and dealers of antique prints and cartography, will be present. The highly qualified exhibition proposal and the international presence of the traders make it an essential event for enthusiasts of the field, as well as a unique fascination for the curious and newcomers.
Historically, the event is held twice a year, in the months of May and September, under the porticoes of the cloister of the former Augustinian monastery of S. Agnese, now home to the Diocesan Museum Francesco Gonzaga.
In collaboration with the Museo Diocesano F. Gonzaga, the association Mirabilia, and with the sponsorship of the Municipality of Mantua.
