ALAI and Antica Stamperia Armena present the second edition of LIBRAI ANTIQUARI A VENEZIA, a rare book fair that will take place February 23, 24 and 25 in Palazzo Pisani-Revedin in Venice, Italy.

The beautiful venue is confirmed, but this year the fair will launch after the end of Carnival to avoid the city's overcrowding.

The event is sponsored by: Comune di Venezia, Biblioteca Nazionale Marciana, Ateneo Veneto, Ro.sa.m., Nova Charta, e Studium.

Alongside the Italian exhibitors, the international presence will be important, with a third of the exhibitors coming from European countries. The public will be offered an extraordinary selection of antique books, incunabula, manuscripts, bibliographical rarities and first editions.

An exhibition of decorated bookbinding papers, made between the 18th and 19th centuries and from private collections, will also be presented on the occasion. The exhibition will be curated by the Association and will be ideally connected to the exhibition just set up at the Biblioteca Marciana. Woodcut, gilded and embossed, marbled and sprayed papers will be on display at Palazzo Pisani-Revedin.

Admission will cost €5 (invitations to enter for free are available at participating bookstores).
