Description
?Caesarian scholarship (?) has unitarians and analysts. The latter, who maintain that BG 1-7 were published separately, have stressed the variation in style. But Rasmussen finds in stylistic change an argument for their unity and simultaneous publication: Caeasr?s Stilwandel is gradual, as is seen especially in the ?orations rectae?. (?) Rasmussen has been eminently successful. If I was skeptical at first about certain details, I was usually convinced as I read on and saw all the interrelations. (?) This is a thorough monograph.?
