The photograph shows an interesting set, but we have to mention the following imperfections: 1) all clasps gone; 2) foot and top spines partly damaged, of 1 spine leather of upper compartment gone; 3) 1 corner of 2nd volume damaged and cornerpiece missing; 4) leather of first hinge vol. 5 broken, but hinge still holding strong; 5) rubbed in places, with loss of layer of leather. - With 5 title-pages, printed in red and black, with large title-vignettes and engraved frontispiece "L. Gaultier incidit 1613". (small convent-stamps on titles and halftitles, name on fly-leaves scratched out).
