pp. ii, 60 +Plus frontispiece. Slight damp stain. 12mo. 180mm. Publisher's full green cloth binding stamped in black and yellow. Cover decorated with pretty dandelions in the upper corners of the cover and an elderly man, looking solemn but content, holding a fishing rod . Spine lettered in yellow. Front cover slightly rubbed and soiled. Mild abrasions on edges of boards. Color in bright but with some rubbing. Spine rubbed and faded. Back cover damp stain. Addison Irving Bacheller (1859-1950) was an American journalist and writer who founded the first modern newspaper syndicate in the United States.
