I slightly cracked, spines tooled in gilt with contrasting leather labels, a nice set. "Hall was posted to the Conway, a 26-gun frigate on the South American station. His experiences are recorded in this journal, which includes accounts of bullfights, earthquakes, politics, revolutions, mining, trade, customs, and social life, of Valparaiso, Santiago, Callao, Lima, Payta, Guayaquil, and Panama.
