This is an almost very good softcover copy. The foot of the spine is worn with some of the surface taken off. Otherwise fine, completely clean inside and out. Text in Dutch and English. This catalog was prepared to accompany the exhibition at Volkenkundig Museum Nusantara, in Delft, from September 7 to December 8, 1991. The exhibition explored the work of Hasan Djaafar (1919- 1995) who was born in Sumatra, Indonesia and only started painting as a serious artist after World War II. Illustrated in black & white with vintage photographs and in color with 12 plates. Bibliography. Limited edition of 750 copies. 10" high X 7" wide, 60 pages.
