Original printed wrappers. = An excellent, extremely well-illustrated monograph fossil (Mesozoic) footprints, chiefly made by reptilians, written by the Dutch herpetologist, ichthyologist, palaeontologist, and Darwinist, Tiberius Cornelius Winkler (1822-1897), and published in the Archives du Musée Teyler. Uncut. Some light, marginal soiling to the wrappers, some, hardly noticeable, foxing in a few plate margins. A very good copy indeed. Rare in this state. Cat. BM(NH), p. 2338; Nissen ZBI, 4423.
