Description

This is a near fine hardcover copy with a very good original soft mylar dust wrapper. All gilt titles still bright. The top of the spine is bumped, this can be seen in the photograph, but it doesn't affect the inside of the book, just the outside top of the spine. The dust wrapper has a shallow chip at the top of the spine which extends around both front and back covers a few inches. The book is very clean inside and out. The spine is not sunned. Text in Italian. Illustrated in black & white with 202 plates with old photographs, drawings, prints and architectural plans + a section of smaller b/w photos titled 'Alcuni aspetti di case rurale Toscana'. Most of the photographs are by Alinari. This book covers the minor architecture of Tuscany from the XIth century through the XVIIIth century.12" high X 9" wide, 350 pages. A beautiful copy of this classic. Large heavy book, foreign shipping will be extra. This book will be securely wrapped and packed in a sturdy box and shipped with tracking.
