3 vols., roy. 8vo., First Edition (save third volume), neat signature on front free endpapers; original blue cloth, backstrips lettered in silver, backstrip of second volume a little dulled (but all lettering bright and clear), a very good, bright, clean set. The third volume is a second impression published a month after the first edition. One of the finest and most comprehensive British political memoirs of the twentieth century. The set comprises 'Facing the Dictators' (1962) covering Eden's early career to 1938; 'The Reckoning' (1965) covering WWII; 'Full Circle' (1960) covering the period from 1951.
