8vo., Second[?] Edition, with engraved portrait frontispiece and 2 full-page battle-plans; attractively bound in nineteenth century half roan, marbled boards, back with flat gilt bands, second compartment with red leather label ruled and lettered in gilt, red sprinkled edges, a remarkably bright, crisp copy in wholly unrestored period binding. Includes a summary of the trials and executuions of the rebel lords. First published in 1749. EXTREMELY SCARCE [COPAC finds only five copies]. Pargellis & Medley 1280.
