Description
No marks or inscriptions. A very clean very tight copy with unmarked black cloth boards and no bumping to corners. Dust jacket not price clipped or marked or torn or creased with minor traces of storage. 96pp. The first volume of the three-volume set of the History of the LMS by OS Nock covering the period from Grouping in 1923 up to 1930. The LMS was the largest of the Big Four main line railways companies and it inherited a whole spectrum of rail traffic from London to Scotland. Very well illustrated.
