Dust jacket not price clipped or marked or torn or creased with very minor traces of storage. 96pp. The second volume of the three-volume set of the History of the LMS by OS Nock covering the period from 1931 to 1939 when the company improved its efficiency, climbed out of recession and entered the record-breaking years which preceded the war. Very well illustrated.
