Dust jacket not price clipped or marked or torn or creased with very slight sunning to spine. 320pp. The author's account of his time in the British Empire Colonial Service in the Gilbert Islands in the Pacific. Illustrated. Maps on end papers. Tucked in is a copy of 'World Books' Broadsheet for March 1954 which includes a feature on this book. Scarce in this condition.
