First edition, 8vo (212 x 130 mm), iv, 118pp., 3 folding engraved plates, 32 plates of heraldic crests printed back-to-back, some offsetting and light spotting, contemporary calf, upper cover with Order of the Garter arms stamped in gilt, neatly rebacked, a nice copy. Provenance: Eric Sexton, F.S.A. (Lord Sexton, 1902-1980), his bookplate.
