Rees, 1803. 8vo (20.6 x 12.7 cm). xxx, 523 pp., 13 engraved, folded plates. 20th-century grained cloth with gilt title on the spine. = This is the third edition, with additions of an authoritive work by William Forsyth (1737-1804), Director of the Royal Gardens at Kensington and St. James, London. Quicky after being published in 1802 several more editions went to print, some, like this third edition, with additions and corrections. Two stamps and old inscription on the title page, otherwise a good, clean copy. Pritzel, 2985; not in Stafleu and Cowan.
