A clean very tight copy with slightly marked boards and bumping to lower corners and upper edge. Slight bump to lower corner of all pages. Page edges slightly dusty. Very scarce. 209pp. An attempt at the negro history of Africa including the beginnings, Carthage, Roman, the church, Vandals, Moslems, Arabs, Mali, Songhai, Portuguese, slavery and the Koromantee.
