Oblong 4to., First Edition, with a frontispiece, and very numerous illustrations from photographs and detailed scale drawings in the text; grey cloth, gilt back, a near fine copy in price-clipped dustwrapper. Published in Conway's outstanding 'Anatomy of the Ship' series featuring probably the most detailed drawings ever produced for historical naval publications. HMS Alliance is now preserved at the Royal Naval Submarine Museum at Gosport. Law, 1124.
