Dust jacket not price clipped or marked, torn or creased with minor traces of handling. 240pp. Published to coincide with the diamond jubilee of The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association, this book tells the story of guide dogs in Britain. The movement started when Germans began training Red Cross ambulance dogs as guides for war veterans after the First World War. The British movement began in 1930.
