Probably to the composer Georges Dandelot or his father Arthur, apologizing for having forgotten to pay him and announcing an enclosed checque over 50 Francs: "Excusez mon étourderie mon cher Dandelot; j'avais comme vous l'avez constaté complètement oublié! Mes meilleurs souvenirs". - Suzanne Balguerie is considered one of the greatest sopranos of the interwar period. Among her admirers were Fauré, Dukas, Poulenc, and Messiaen. - With recipient's or collector's note in pencil. Minimally creased.
