Description
A sheet of wove paper (10 x 10 cm) with, on one side, an autograph musical quotation SIGNED by Ray Ventura, and on the other side with a sketch of the "Ville de Paris", SIGNED by noted marine artist Marin Marie. From the exemplary collection of maître d'hôtel Maurice Guérin, who worked from the 1930s to the 1960s at top restaurants in the South of France and aboard the S.S. Normandie. This particular item was signed by both artists during an Atlantic crossing in 1937. Minor adhesive remains, else in condition. A UNIQUE AND FASCINATING ITEM.
