Description
Oblong small 4to (89:233 mm). A wonderful and rare musical line by Donizetti, from his opera "Lucrezia Borgia" (I, 7) with the text: "Guai se ti sfugge un moto, se ti tradisce un detto [.]". - The sheet is inscribed to one M. Joelsson (?) - "Voilà le motif qui a frappé" - and apparently clipped from the head of a larger sheet of printed manuscript paper. - Some light age wear and two stains to the lower edge, just affecting a couple of words of text.
