This is a fine softcover copy with no wear at all. Completely clean. No marks to lots or illustrations. The sale was held at Axel Vervoordt's residence in Belgium, near Antwerp, Kasteel van's-Gravenwezel. Sale number: 6850. It featured over 1000 objects collected by Vervoordt or designed by him and arranged in one of the hundreds of room settings in the Kasteel. All objects designed by Vervoordt are clearly designated as such. There are many color photographs scattered throughout the catalog that give an idea of Vervoordt's sense of interior decoration. Also many photographs of the grounds and gardens at the Kasteel, with wooden benches and other objects for the garden designed by Vervoordt. Essay by Meredith Etherington-Smith.
