This is a very good two volume set bound in dark red polished cloth ruled and titled in gilt on the spines. Formerly in the collection of a small reference library at a private academy, each volume bears their bookplate on the inside front cover. No other marks whatsoever to text, plates or preliminaries. Covers very clean, just a little rubbing to the spine tips and one edge. Vol. I: 162 pp. + illustrations in the text; Vol. II: 128 plates. Text in French. 11" high X 8 1/2" wide. A beautiful hardcover set. These books will be securely wrapped and packed in a sturdy box and shipped with tracking.
