The sale catalogue of the library of the Count (and General) Despinoy (1764-1848), who served under the ancien régime, under Napoleon, and afterwards. XLVII, 432 pp. 4,002 items fully described. Printed on good wove paper. SIGNED INSCRIPTION IN INK FROM JOSEPH TECHENER. Attractively bound in recent half pebbled morocco and marbled boards. Entirely uncut, with large margins. Original wraps and backstrip preserved. FINE AND BRIGHT.
