Monmerque was among the most erudite scholars of his generation, a specialist in the middle ages, and a distinguished bibliophile (a founding member of the Societe des Bibliophiles Francais). Printed on good wove paper. Large 8vo. Original wraps. Wraps somewhat worn and stained, internally clean.
