Bookplate of Hugh John McLean upon front free endpaper. [4], 443 pages. All six plates present. The entire catalogued Franks bequest contained 35,098 plates. Above-average wear to publisher's black cloth. Innumerable small light pencil marginal tick marks beside items of interest. Narrow opening in binding at page 259.
