Description
This is a very good hardcover copy with just light cover wear. Completely clean inside. Signed and briefly inscribed by Chen Chi to a couple, who were collecting his work, dated 1989. Text in Chinese and English. This exhibition was prepared when Chen Chi was 76. It was the first exhibition of his work in China since the 1940's. Chen Chi (1912--2005) was a renowned Chinese painter who became a United States citizen, where he lived and worked for much of his career. 84 color plates + black & white photograph portrait of the artist + several illustrations in the text. Chronology. 10" square, 108 pages. This book will be securely wrapped and packed in a sturdy box and shipped with tracking.
