8vo., First Edition, with plates; black cloth, gilt back, a near fine copy in unclipped dustwrapper. The RNPS was unique and boasted its own rules and regs. Manned mainly by ex-fishermen and armed with obsolete weaponry, it suffered heavily in the first years of the war. This is a useful complement to Featherbe, but RNPS is still a grossly under-written aspect of the RN in WWII
