Description
This is a very good hardcover copy with an almost very good heavy card slipcase. The slipcase has an illustration on the cover and printed paper labels, but missing the bottom narrow panel. Completely clean. Text mostly in Japanese with a two page essay 'Brief Life History' in English at rear. Illustrated throughout with finely printed gravures, protected with Japanese tissue, and some mounted color plates. Unosuke Kawai (1889 - 1968) was born in Kyoto into a family of ceramists. 12" high X 8" wide. Large heavy book, foreign shipping will be extra. This book will be securely wrapped and packed in a sturdy box and shipped with tracking.
