Two parts in one, complete. One of two editions published in 1774 (priority not known, but this one likely a piracy) of this collection of stories translated from the English periodical "The Adventurer". 2 leaves; iv, 5-145 pp; 2 leaves; 117 pp. Beautiful large woodcut armorial exlibris ("Tetschner Bibliothek") printed in red on verso of title-page. Small 8vo. Attractively bound in contemporary full mottled sheep, spine gilt. A bit of wear to binding, otherwise excellent inside and out.
