No marks or inscriptions to contents. A very clean very tight copy with bright tape-marked boards and end papers, minor foxing to top of page edges and no bumping to corners. Dust jacket not price clipped or marked or torn or creased with slight sunning to spine. 85pp. The games consisting of a great many sports were instituted in the reign of James I on Dover Hill in Weston-sub-Edge in Gloucestershire and continued for many years until the fields were enclosed in the reign of George III. Reprint of the 1878 edition.
