Description
8vo., First Edition thus, with 50 plates on 32 and front and rear endpaper maps, some faint offsetting from fold-ins to free endpapers; blue cloth, gilt back, a very good, bright, clean copy in unclipped dustwrapper, the latter mildly rubbed at extremities. With striking dustwrapper artwork by W. Harry Sheldon. Classic early account of Pearl Harbor by the author of 'A Night to Remember'. Using a similar technique Lord interviewed nearly six hundred eye-witnesses and others associated with the disaster. The first UK edition is strangely elusive in this condition. Enser, p.325.
