Description
In 8vo (mm. 153x85). Pp. XXXXVI, 288. Con antiporta calcografica e VI belle tavole incise in rame fuori testo, poste all'inizio di ciascuno dei sei libri di cui si compone il poema (incise da Claude Duflos su disegni di Frans van Mieris). Capilettera ornati, graziose testatine e finalini incisi in rame. Bella legatura strettamente coeva in piena pelle marmorizzata con titolo in oro su tassello in marocchino rosso e ricchi fregi in oro al dorso, dentelles e tagli dorati. Esemplare fresco e ben conservato.
Raffinata edizione figurata (stampata dal celebre editore Joseph Barbou di Parigi) del grande poema lucreziano.
