Jodocus Clichtoveus, Flemish Reformhumanist important and controversial Catholic theologian of the Reformation period; one of the most influential teachers at the Sorbonne in Paris, initially stood on the side of the humanists and suggested a result of religious disputes on the side of strict scholasticism.
