12mo (cm. 17,5), 2 cc.nn., XXVIII pp., 2 cc.nn., 171(1) pp. Con una grande carta geografica e 10 tavv. calcografiche ripiegate f.t. (raffiguranti la flora, la fauna e l’etnologia). Legatura coeva in piena pelle maculata con ricchi fregi e titolo oro al ds. Tagli rossi. Carte di guardia marmorizzate. Lievi bruniture sparse, peraltro ottimo stato di conservazione. Rara prima edizione in francese ad opera di J.-B. Des Roches de Parthenay di questa importante relazione sulla Groenlandia. Attraente esemplare proveniente dalla Biblioteca del celebre esploratore polare Paul-Emile Victor (1907-1995), etnologo specialista della Groenlandia e primo direttore delle esplorazioni polari francesi (ex libris al contropiatto anteriore).
