FIRST EDITION of two plays by Molière, INCLUDING LE MEDECIN VOLANT, HIS VERY FIRST PLAY. 3, 72 + 4 pp of ads. Bound together with three 19th-century historical plays ("Les vêpres siciliennes" by Delavigne, "Louis IX" by Ancelot, and "Marie Stuart" by Le Brun) published in 1819 and 1820. 8vo. Contemporary quarter morocco and marbled boards, a bit worn but structurally solid. Internally very clean.
