8vo., First Edition; black cloth, gilt back, a fine copy in unclipped dustwrapper. First appearance in one volume of the third and fourth volumes of Lees-Milne's inimitable diaries, first published in 1983 and 1985 respectively. For this edition the author provides a new introduction. This edition is now uncommon in its own right, especially in this condition.
