Contemporary quarter cloth over green, printed boards. = A rare work on hailstorms, and their relation to to the earth surfaces and vegetation, in particular in a hilly, wooded, region in Switzerland. The auhor, Johann Heinrich "Hans" Hiniger (1841-1892), was a Swiss politician, forester and silviculturist. Uncut. Tiny stamp on front free endpaper, otherwise a very good, clean copy.
